Providence Health & Services RN Coordinator - Surgical Clinical Services in Portland, Oregon

Providence is calling a Registered Nurse to join its Regional Surgery Program team in Portland, OR. This is a full-time (40 hour per week), salary, exempt position which offers a flexible, day shift schedule (no weekends or holidays required).

In this position, you will:

  • Provide support to the Providence Surgery Program’s quality priorities and various process improvement strategies.

  • Be responsible for multiple aspects of clinical process improvement including data retrieval, data analysis, clinical team collaboration, project management and reporting outcomes.

  • Support a variety of projects and respond to colleagues, leadership and medical director requests in an effective and timely manner.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse license in good standing

  • 5 years of clinical experience which must include a minimum of 2 years in a surgery environment

  • Current, valid Oregon State driver's license

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Training or experience with project management tools & methods (PMI)

  • Training or experience with process improvement and/or change management methodologies (such Lean, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process, or related techniques)

  • Experience with multidisciplinary teams and involved with clinical improvements using patient outcomes
